William E. Williams, DDS
Dr. Williams is committed to the importance of lifelong learning and teaching the next generation of dentists. He attends continuing education courses yearly to remain current on the latest topics and techniques. When starting his dental sleep practice he consulted with the nation’s leading clinicians. He published an article about that work in the Journal of Dental Sleep Practice. Dr. Williams also serves as a lead facilitator for Think Big, a transition to private practice seminar for 4th-year students at the UNC School of Dentistry.
Dr. Williams has been actively involved in organized dentistry throughout his career serving as president of the North Carolina Dental Society and a delegate to the American Dental Association for North Carolina. Dr. Williams is a fellow in the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy.
Dr. Williams has served the community through several volunteer efforts. He was co-chairman of the Give Kids a Smile Program for Pitt County and served on the Missions of Mercy Task Force for the state of North Carolina. He also supports and has served as an advisor to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Pitt County.

Dr. Williams enjoys fishing, a good book, and traveling with his wife Martha and their two children Ward and Martha Ann. Dr. Williams has held several leadership positions at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church where he and his family are active members.
